thank you

this fabulous family has graced the blog before and now they’re back!

this is my best friend, kimmi, and her awesome family. i love these people like they were my own. i love ireland, chloe, and gunner as if they were my own kids. i love chris as if he were my brother and i love kimmi as if she were my sister… and so much more. words can’t even express the love i have for these people!

we did this photoshoot over the summer and i’m behind on blogging, but turns out that now is a perfect time to share these photos and memories. as you’ll see, chris is in the army and he is deploying for his 3rd tour very soon. to say thank you to chris, kimmi, ireland, chloe, and gunner for the sacrifices they make for our freedom doesn’t seem like even close to enough… but thank you. chris… thank you for all you do to keep us safe and free… for fighting for us and for all you have to sacrifice. ireland, chloe, and gunner… thank you for sacrificing your precious time with your daddy so he can keep us all safe… he feels your love no matter where in the world he may be. kimmi… thank you for being an amazing, strong, faithful, and incredible wife of a soldier… for supporting your husband, for being a fantastic mother, and for all you do…

thank you.

you 5 know how much i love you. but God loves you so much more. i pray his protection, peace, guidance, hope, joy and love over you all. i love you.

Katie - These are so great! Their girls are getting so big! And Gunner is so cute. I bet their time together is so treasured. My sister, Sam, is due with her first (a little girl) around Thanksgiving. Her husband is a Marine and deploys one month before she’s due. Fortunately he’ll be back in about six months, but that time with him away is going to be so hard. I’m sure it always is.ReplyCancel
